At the 5th Combined Convocation Ceremony of the Gateway (ICT) Polytechnic, Saapade, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, made a significant gesture to recognize academic excellence, awarding N2 million each to the top three best graduating students. This rewarding initiative celebrates the outstanding academic achievements of Ifunanya Agu, Victor Omontuhen, and Suliat Yusuf, who emerged as the highest achievers from the 2021/2022, 2022/2023, and 2023/2024 sessions, respectively.
Governor Abiodun, represented by his deputy, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, used the occasion to inspire the graduates, urging them to be trailblazers in their fields and contribute to the advancement of society. “Step into the world as problem-solvers, innovators, and change-makers,” he urged, emphasizing the importance of using their acquired knowledge and skills for societal transformation.
